Elementary Level Mentoring

The Elementary Level Mentoring (ELM) Program is a signature initiative of the Epsilon Omicron Education Foundation, created to provide consistent, positive engagement for young boys at the elementary level.

Leadership. Scholarship. Service.

Conducted in partnership with Ford Elementary and Birnham Woods Elementary, both part of the Conroe Independent School District (Conroe ISD), the ELM program pairs 3rd and 4th grade boys with accomplished professional men who are members of the Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Epsilon Omicron Chapter. The mentors bring a wealth of professional experience and a deep commitment to service and mentorship.

Program Format
  • Sessions take place on campus during the school day, every other week.
  • Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is coordinated through school counselors.
  • Mentoring is delivered through a combination of one-on-one and small group discussions, depending on the needs of the students and the structure of each session.
  • Topics include character development, decision-making, goal setting, and positive self-identity.
Purpose & Impact

The ELM program is rooted in the belief that early mentorship fosters lifelong confidence and direction. By introducing students—particularly those from historically underrepresented communities—to consistent, caring adult role models early in life, we aim to plant the seeds for strong academic engagement, personal responsibility, and long-term achievement.

Community Collaboration

We are grateful for the trust and collaboration of Conroe ISD and the dedicated counselors and administrators at Ford and Birnham Woods Elementary Schools. Their partnership ensures the ELM program is a natural and valuable extension of the schools’ commitment to student success.
